Yolanda Eckhart, 95, Green Bay, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Vienna (Forte) and Ernest Morrone of Kenosha, Wisconsin. Yolanda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, of 60 years, George Eckhart. Their daughter, Avon Gassittie, passed away in 2005.
Prior to retirement, Yolanda worked for ARA Services within the American Motors Corporation, Kenosha, Wisconsin. She enjoyed time with family and attended St. Mary’s Catholic Parish.
Survivors include son-in-law, Gene Gassittie; sister, Mary (Richard) Gentile; grandchildren, Tina Parins, De Pere; Robert (Pamela) Jewell, Jr. of Streamwood, Illinois; and Ryan Jewell, Buffalo Grove, Illinois; her great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews and extended family.
Yolanda was preceded in death by sisters Edith Platt, Kenosha and Rose Wasilevich, Michigan.
Family and friends may visit at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Dr, Ledgeview, on Saturday, April 14 from 10:00am until 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with Rev. Richard Getchel officiating. Cotter Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family.
