Obituary for Thomas Edward "Tom" Kiley

Thomas Edward "Tom"  Kiley
Thomas Edward “Tom” Kiley, age 89, of Glenmore, passed away peacefully at Scandinavian Court in Denmark. The son of Walter J. and Mae (Sherlock) was born May 11, 1927 in Glenmore. Tom graduated from East De Pere High School and went on to own and operate a dairy farm all his life. On May 30, 1951 he married Marian Koltz in De Pere, and together they had ten children. Tom was a member of the National Farmers Organization, served on the Board of Directors for Progressive Farmers, belonged to Catholic Knights, the Holy Name Society at St. Mary Church in Glenmore and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He also served as the town assessor for Glenmore for 45 years and had the Tom Kiley orchestra for 45 years.
Survivors include his wife, Marian, children: Nancy (Alan) Malewiski, John (Debra), Glen (Donna), Wayne (Denise), Francis (Judy), Allen (Shirley), Gary (Lisa), Paul, Joseph (Connie); daughter-in-law: Peggy (Russ) Rezba; 30 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; brother: Raymond (Kathy), and his twin brother James; sister Marcella (Leland) Hoffman and a brothers-in-law Ken Matzke, Lee McDermid; sisters-in-law: Marianne Koltz and Rita Koltz; God-children: Robert Kiley, Patrick Malewiski, Karen Efferts, Kris Gerarden, Cindy Cohen, Chris Matzke, Christopher Meyers, Mary Hoffman, Martin McDermid; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Myron; grandson James Malewiski, twin granddaughters; sisters: Marie (James) Pansier, Rosella (Joseph) Reedy, Dolores Matzke; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Dorothy Kiley, Judy McDermid, George (Ruth) Koltz, James Koltz, Francis (Nancy) Koltz and Richard Koltz.
Family and friends may visit at St. Mary Catholic Church, 5832 Big Apple Road, Glenmore, on Tuesday, December 6, from 9:00am until 11:00am, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am with Rev. Kevin Ori officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Cotter Funeral Home of Denmark is assisting the family.
Our family would like to extend a thank you to the caregivers at Scandinavian Court, SouthernCare Hospice and Fr. Kevin Ori for his visits and pastoral care.
